Museums, scenic tours, historic cars recall era of riding the rails

While it’s always fun to ride the rails, the trip is even more entertaining during the fall months when the leaves change. The colors are particularly stunning in the Allegheny Mountains around Cumberland and Frostburg in western Maryland, and foliage fans can get an up-close view of the scenery with a seat on this scenic railroad that runs between the two towns.
